Hello Students: The final exam on December 14th will include two parts: Quizlet questions and a timed writing.
To study for the final exam, go to the Quizlet website and study the set titled "Review for Final Exam." These questions will be on the final exam. Here is a link to the Quizlet website.
You will also need to write a brief summary and response for the final exam. Read pages 54 and 63 in your textbook to review the requirements for a summary and response.
We will practice both of these activities again in class next Wednesday to help prepare you for the final.

Note: Students who turned in their first draft of the research paper by November 16th will receive 5 extra credit points on the paper for handing it in on time.

If You Missed the Mid-Term Exam...
If you arrived late or were absent last night, you can take the mid-term exam at the Testing Center. The mid-term exam will be available at the testing center from Friday, October 21st until Friday Otober 28. Tell staff at the Testing Center that you need to take the mid-term exam for Advanced Writing. The testing center has a list of names of students who need to take the exam.
